I've finished the lyric for Fields of Gold. In that dropbox link, named "Fields of Gold Memorial lyric.txt"

I tried to research him a bit, I think I may have gotten the spirit right.

Don't know why I read "Saturday" the first time. The day called "Sunday" also works, and I'll be there.

Here is the link to the songs and part assignments for the Sunday Memorial Event. Band members expected to be there are: Siltharan, Krohkur, Ashigaru, Jebbob as well as Briallan and her alts. Please let me know ASAP if you want to play but are not on this list, or are on the list and cannot play for some reason.

The event starts at 3PM EST / server time. Band members should be at the Bree Abandoned Graveyard [26.3S, 52.4W] by 230PM EST, which is where we will start playing (later we move on to the Prancing Pony and play at the after party there).

Expecting to arrive if not by 2:30, then sometime between 2:30 and 3. Going out for brunch/lunch today, hopefully earlier than later. :)

A few final notes on setting up for the event --  the gravesite is the one in the Abandoned Graveyard that has flowers on it, on the right hand side under the tree. As soon as the first guest gets within range we can start the first song (01 Fields6.abc).

I just wanted to thank everyone for helping to make the event such a special and memorable one. I was especially moved by the reworking of the lyrics for Fields of Gold. You guys are awesome!

It was certainly an honor to be a part of that.

As I looked into who David was, I learned one solid thing: I'm really sorry I never got to know him.

Universally, references were glowing, and showed someone who liked to let his metaphorical hair down, and was always there when needed, without being asked. The strengths of his friendships seemed to be his strengths; compassion and grace are such rare commodities these days.
