Chicken Camp continues this week!
The in-game assignment for Week 3 is the Chicken Run to Rivendell. For those of you who wish to get a head start on the preliminary quests leading up to this event, or would like to try some of the optional chicken quests which aren't required for the course, our friends at the Bounders of the Shire kinship are continuing to lead Chicken Camp activities this week. Here are the remaining Chicken Camp activities for this week. The information in brackets at the end of each event describes how the event fits in with the required course in-game activity for Week 3:
Thursday the 7th at 3pm and 8:30p- Flying the Coop: Ered Luin & North Downs (both runs during both time periods); starts at Sandson's farm [these are optional quests, not required for the course, but they are preliminary events for a more advanced, optional chicken quest later this month]
Fryday the 8th at 9pm- May Day Story Night at Musterin' Hill (The hill between the Stables and the Crafting Area in Michel Delving.), Kick-Off for Week 3 of the course [optional role-play event, not required for the course, but it should be fun!]
Sunday, the 10th at 9am and 2pm- Green Eggs Camp – the basic starter quests (Which Laid First, The Early Bird, and The Sky is Falling), which will open all Flying the Coop quests; starts at Sandson's Farm [students need to complete the starter quests to be able to do the chicken run to Rivendell in week 3; doing them as part of the Green Eggs Camp is a convenient way of getting the quests done at a time when you know that escorts and expert advice will be available, but if these times aren't convenient for you, you can try them at a time of your own choosing, either alone, or by asking for some escorts on the coursera chat channel]
