I just wanted to remind folk of three things:
1) Yes, there is a Trollshaws/Rivendell run scheduled for Sunday at 3pm servertime.
2) Yes, there is a Trollshaws/Rivendell run scheduled for Saturday at 3pm servertime as well--we just decided on that today, so that's why it's not listed above, but you'll see it in our other Chicken Run Week thread.
3) If you can't make either of those and need a chicken run to Rivendell (or even *shudder* still need to do your Green Eggs so you can run to Rivendell), TELL US ASAP so we can help arrange something in a timely not-so-stressful fashion. Even though we do not have anything definite for Friday night or all other times that aren't between now and when the assignment is due, that means there's hopefully plenty of time to fit you in somewhere out of what time is left so you can get it done.
Lastly, a minor suggestion for those freaking out because it's that close to assignment time: if you have done your Green Eggs, but can't make the last two runs scheduled for Trollshaws (Rivendell) and feel adventurous, remember your chicken does not have to make it to Rivendell--you just need to try.
A careful chicken with no Tenders has a decent chance of getting to at least Last Bridge, and possibly even the Ford --both of which will make excellent screen shots for the class. Best to not leave the farm when in game time (not servertime) is afternoon-evening or you most likely will encounter trolls on the road to Rivendell.
Still...who knows? Despite the stealthed wolves, bow orcs, spear weilding gobs and any manner of other things you didn't realize were too close until they pounce on you (those lynxes! Ohhhh the nightmares!)--you might even make it all the way to Rivendell! It has happened. I don't recommend this for first timers....but if you really have a horrid schedule to work with, and are desperate....it's worth trying. If you do die along the way, don't forget to snap a screenie before you get sent back to the farm! Especially if you haven't already taken one along the way.
I still think it's more fun to go with friends though, feathered or not.
