Video Game Concert #1 - Wednesday 11/13 or Friday 11/15?

It's about time to plan another concert! This time, we'll be running a few video game songs that we've created. We're trying to figure out whether the meetups on Sunday nights are required at this point, or if we can get things ready for new people in a period of time prior to the concert itself.

What's everyone's availability on Wednesday or Friday 11/13 or 11/15 this week? I'm off on Wednesday, but closing most other days next week. Friday night could be a backup date if need be. Looking at the 9pm EST hour once again.

Cannot make Monday or Wednesday due to late classes and time zone (could not be online and ready to go before 1030PM EST on those 2 days). I can do Friday at 9PM, though.

Also, Butterfly3 (a five-part song) needs some fixes, which I will do today (and post to this thread when it's finished). Butterfly and  Butterfly2 and ready to go, but they are 6-part songs. Otherwise, all the songs sound good.

Oh, right. I'll change it to Butterfly2. I forgot which was which... Also, I know Tuesday and Thursday are out for me... How about Friday?

I'm good for Friday (9PM or even earlier or later if we need to move time). Friday 11/15, right?

Yep, 11/15. Also, I'm not sure whether I should hold off on a couple FF songs (to just play ff3celesopera) and add in something from Zelda or Chrono Trigger. So, lineup may change.

Bri already ruled Monday out anyway. Thursday's a definite no-go for me either way, since there's no way I can play at work :P

I'm good for most days... hmm. I may, in fact, need a life. Anyone know a good second hand life store?

Seriously, anytime is usually good. Keep in mind that the server population increases from Friday mid-afternoon (Eastern/Server Time) to late night Sunday.  On Landroval, it's a rolling window as Europeans get home from work Friday to when the Pacific Time (or Pac Rim, including Alaska, Hawaii, and even parts of Australia and Asia) go to bed.  Landy is predominantly Euro-North American, but there population in just about any time zone, globally.

There's a skirmish at 1pm on Friday, so an evening concert wouldn't interfere. Shall we plan for 9pm ET?

Works for me! We are shooting for 6-man band, right? I can bring some alt minstrels if we have trouble making that number, but hopefully we will get some additional interest between now and then.

Friday works fine for me.

I would change out Shinra's March because we've done it before and have a Final Fantasy Prelude or perhaps FF7 Bombing Mission as a starter. We can do another game's opening too: Secret of Mana's A Prayer and a Whisper, Chrono Trigger's A Premonition  If needed, I can compose something for those.

Also would like to split up the Final Fantasy Songs. I would say that Celes Opera should be before M2 Closing Credits, but Kefka could be right after the intro (whatever it is).

Maybe we can add one or two more song for a half an hour? Also maybe a song with more of a kick. I have The Secret of Mana boss song (Danger), but it's an eight parter. I think I could kill two parts (No, not the cowbell) to make a six parter and maybe split it half since it repeats the same sequence. I'll play with that this weekend. Also there's the Tetris song as well.

The four of us can guarantee six since I would have two, Briallan would have two and Silth and Krokhur. So even if we get more people, we can remove our other alts to have six.

Thanks for coming out tonight! Had a nice discussion afterward with a member of the serious RP community and explained to him (OOCly, of course) what the course was all about. He was already involved with a kin, but he said many others he knew had been curious about us. If people are curious, give them a little explanation about what we are! :)
